DAY 1 EDINBURGH

Make your own way to the 4-star Hotel Indigo Edinburgh - York Place. You’ll have time to check-in this afternoon and relax before we come together in the evening around 5pm for a Welcome Meeting and drink with the Holiday Director. When darkness falls, our local guide will lead us on a storytelling walking tour of Edinburgh Old Town. They’ll talk us through the incredible history of this fascinating city and share stories of murder and mystery. The tour ends at a traditional pub for a welcome dinner. (D)

DAY 2 EDINBURGH

After breakfast, we’ll spend the morning exploring the main sights of Edinburgh in the company of an experienced local guide. Perched on a volcanic rock, Edinburgh Castle is one of the most exciting historic sites in Western Europe. Our guide will share with you many exciting tales of its time as a military fortress, royal residence and prison of war. We’ll then take a walk along the Royal Mile, discovering its charm. Running through the heart of Edinburgh's historic city center, the Mile is flanked by impressive, towering buildings between which cobbled closes and narrow stairways lead off to hidden courtyards, museums, bars and more that are waiting to be explored. The rest of the day is free to explore at leisure. (B)
