There are many ways our survivors remember the experiences of the war, in the stories they choose to tell and the silences that remain.

The stories of survival and violence, shared across generations, still affect people. They are the legacy of Liberation. For as much as the story of war is about those who lost their lives, the story includes the living, the people who remained to keep the story alive, ready to pass it on to the next generation. A generation we hope to have no war but peace and friendship.
