Distributed employment support system
• Newham, an area in East London, faces high unemployment, racial diversity, and low living standards, contributing to rising crime rates. The project suggests that increasing employment rates could help reduce crime. Research into local employment support venues revealed they do not sufficiently meet community needs, leading to the decision to implement a distributed employment support model. The plan includes renovating the Canning Town Job Centre and installing employment information interactive kiosks in parks across the London Borough of Newham, aiming to promote social interaction, improve information dissemination, and meet the community's demand for employment support.
The Manningtree Seafront Parent-Child Community Center
• This project aims to transform the materials warehouse and parking lot of the seafront center into a children's play center. The plan integrates natural elements as a key intervention, using spatial interaction devices, that encourage parents and children, as well as children with each other, to engage with natural elements while interacting within the space.
Work Experience
OpenArchitecture - Design Intern
• Involved in the design of SHEDE (Wine) Museum and independently completed the basement design, and participated in the preparation of drawings and reports for presentation.(SD)
• Assisted in the research and design of a high-rise residential facade in Nanshan, Shenzhen, participating in the production of 3D models, handmade models and 3D printed models, as well as visualisation, rendering and video production.(SD)
Clou Architects - Design Intern
•Assist in the completion of the commercial complex design of the pre-schematic design, as well ashe production of post-production of renderings.
TianHua - Design Intern
• Assisted the lead designer in the design of commercial complexes, researched and analyzed theinternal structures of commercial complexes, and prepared drawings and report documents.
