Best 10 Tips on How to Buy Discounted Flight Tickets by: George Alarcon Everyone who travels wants to save as much as possible when flying. Why would you want to pay the regular going cost when you can get flight tickets cheaper? I have provided a few clever ways of saving yourself a ton of money on your next air trip. 1) Book online instead of offline; you’ll save money from the paper processing fee.
2) Clear out your cookies. Why? Many travel websites use the cookies to log when you search for a particular route and will quote you higher when you return to that site to search again. 3) Many airline websites update their airfare shortly after midnight. A little research about the route you are looking will help you get the best airfares before they are sold.
4) Stay less than 30 days. Most airfare tariffs have a month’s limitation stay restriction. If you require more time, you will pay a higher priced ticket. 5) If you are traveling with a child under 2 year of age, your child is qualified to travel for free. Buying a separate seat for your child is really expensive.
6) Be ready and open to have different departure and return dates. Mark “anytime” in the search window. 7) Buy flight tickets during the off-season periods; flight tickets are usually cheaper. 8) Buy flight tickets in advance; you can save a lot.
9) Buy from an air courier service; these are companies that will buy your luggage space in exchange for lower-priced tickets. 10) If you fly a lot, join a frequent flyer program; such a program offers long-term discounts.

Enjoy a water adventure In Florida by: Brian Kendall If you enjoy water adventure, the state of Florida should be your destination. There are many water activities like swimming, sailing, fishing, diving which the area can offer. Since the stress is on sailing, there are many openings where you can access boats on rent, necessary equipment and training and other allied activities. No wonder then that Florida is the boater’s paradise. If you are planning a sailing trip to Florida, given below is a short check list of things you should take note of so that you can get the maximum out of your vacation to Florida. 1. Marinas. While there are many marinas in Florida the Tampa Bay is perhaps the most
popular. These marinas take care of your boat in every possible way, including hauling, bottom cleaning or painting, if you so desire. If you wish to fit some electronic gadgets to enhance convenience, they are equipped to do so. They service your boat engines with warranties, wherever applicable. 2. Boat Ramps. These are parking places for boats. There are many boating ramps in Florida which offer personalized services and are open day and night. Most of these ramps can sustain any tide condition, so that is one worry off your head. Some of them even offer places for long walks, areas for biking and grounds where you can enjoy a special picnic as well.
3. Artificial Reefs. Boating, swimming and diving are activities which you can do simultaneously. If you like diving, try the artificial reefs in Florida and the spectacular marine life which these places offer. Every county in Florida has a special fare to offer in terms of beautiful coral and its typical artificial reefs. 4. Waterfront restaurants. These places are must-visits once you are in Florida. There are plenty of fabulous restaurants along the docks and waterfront. Quite of them offer fine dining with exquisite cuisine including sea food, beef, ribs, chicken, and
other delicious delicacies. Many of these restaurants have well-equipped bars with facilities of indoor and outdoor seating. Florida with its more than 8000 miles of shore and coastline, is boater’s paradise in every sense of the word. In fact sailing and water sports are two of Florida’s
main tourist attractions. Their service is world-class with enjoyment guaranteed. You could make a trip to Florida, just to enjoy its fine sailing. So make your plans, pack your bags and get the life-time experience of sailing in Florida.

Restart your Spring Break engine in Indiana Looking for something to do a little closer to home this year? Looking to make your dollar stretch further, but still create Spring Break memories? Try on
these fun, semi-outdoor, wear-yourself-out activities. Go caving - Indiana has three Marengo Cave, Bluespring Caverns and Squire Boone Caverns. All offer tours daily, but
each offers something a little extra - try spelunking (cave exploring) at Marengo, overnight at Bluespring or explore the village above ground at Squire Boone. Go fishing - on Lake Michigan. Bring your pole and charter a boat for a big catch. You still might need a jacket though for those cold lake-effect winds. Afterwards, grab an Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore guidebook at the Dorothy Buell Memorial Visitor Center, then play on the beach, climb the dunes, hike the trail system and take a guided nature tour. Go Geocaching - grab a treasure map (your GPS device) and look for treasure. Some of
Indiana’s hot spots are in South (Mitchell) and North (Shipshewana, Warsaw & Plymouth). Find more at Geocaching.com. Don’t have a GPS device? Northern Indiana’s destinations will provide one. Go explore - at a state park. Indiana State Parks offer lots to explore, places to stay and fun things to learn. Brown County State Park offers indoor water fun, Turkey Run State Park has great hiking trails and Spring Mill State Park offers historical village exploration. Go play (and learn) - These fun, hands-on museums are sure to impress: Terre Haute Children’s Museum, Science Central (Fort Wayne), The Children’s Museum
of Indianapolis, CMoe (Evansville) and kidscommons (Columbus). Go swimming - There are plenty of places to swim indoors and outdoors. Here are just a few of the indoor ones: Big Splash Adventure (French Lick), Caribbean Cove (Indianapolis) and Splash Universe (Shipshewana). And these particular water park fun spots offer overnight accommodations. Whatever the experience, you’ll love restarting your Spring Break engine in Indiana! Pennsylvania became known as the “Keystone State” due to their key location in the center of the original 13 colonies. Therefore, it is not surprising that many of the events that formed the fabric of our nation happened right in Pennsylvania. The Commonwealth has a history that is rich in new beginnings – from the signing of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia to the rebirth of our nation on the Civil War battlefield at Gettysburg, to the important technological advancements that got their start during the Industrial Revolution.
As the birthplace of our nation’s independence, the diverse culture, and the natural beauty of the area, Pennsylvania offers a variety of avenues for your enjoyment. If you want to experience the best of America, begin your trip in Pennsylvania. Tour the bustling cities and charming rural towns. south carolina
South Carolina
A taste of South Carolina's coastal destinations A mix of easy public access, private retreats and natural preserves highlights the 200 miles of Atlantic Ocean coastline that South Carolina calls its own. For generations, beach trips to millions of Americans and Canadians has meant an easy drive to Myrtle Beach and later, Hilton Head, while expanded air travel has added more international travelers in recent years. Reliable, decent weather year-round and a burgeoning
menu of attractions and amenities continue to drive that growth in popularity. Starting from the north, Myrtle Beach anchors the 60-mile crescent of shoreline known as the Grand Strand. Characterized by long, sweeping stretches of sand and surf, the Strand offers both bustling and less-boisterous choices for plopping that plastic chaise lounge and propping the umbrella.
In Myrtle Beach proper, hotels old and new, restaurants and shops line the beach, with public access points interspersed. Then there are the quiet ocean-side beach communities such as Cherry Grove, Atlantic Beach (considered perhaps the nation’s first predominantly African American beach town), Garden City and “elegantly shabby” Pawleys Island. Much of the coast is protected wildlife refuges until the
Charleston area, itself a world-class destination for lovers of history and architecture but also home to popular beach destinations such as Wild Dunes Resort and the Isle of Palms to the north of town and Folly Beach and its popular public beach just to the south. At the south end of South Carolina’s coast is Hilton Head, a golf and tennis haven. Hilton Head is world famous for its plantation resorts, which combine
beachfront dining, pools and cabanas with tennis, a range of accommodations and public and private golf. There are literally thousands of hotel rooms, condos, campsites and other accommodations along the South Carolina coast, as well as a myriad of dining, entertainment and educational options to help spice up the trip. -Marc Rapport
