Apresentação do Centro de Estudos Alberto Sampaio

In memory of the legacy of Alberto Sampaio (b. 1841 – d. 1908), who continues to inspire new generations of scholars in multiple fields of knowledge, the Alberto Sampaio Research Centre has been created, located in the house where he was born, that also houses A Oficina’s shop. Extending the concept of the In Memoriam exhibition, inaugurated in November 2019, to a broader project, the new research centre aims to give greater visibility to the great master’s life and work. It will operate as a new meeting space for researchers and the various entities that have been pursuing different kinds of research and publication works in the fields of knowledge that were developed and advanced by Alberto Sampaio.
