A new food delivery system is hitting the street of Phuket and goes by the name of MENUVENU, a platform that offers hungry people more choice and fast priority service from tasty local restaurants.

While most businesses are suffering from the recent pandemic, one industry continues to do very well, even in those disrupted times; we are talking, of course, about delivery platforms.

However, restaurants often complain they have to pay fees that are equal to 20%- 40% of the order’s value, and user review sites are littered with complaints of cold food, late and cancelled delivery, and impossible call centers.

Well , one company has decided the madness has to stop, and created a platform where foodies can order direct to the restaurant. It’s like other apps at first glance but it works very differently. That’s because users can choose their food and then their delivery option. Now you can order direct to the restaurant kitchen and

skip the apps. The food is then delivered by the restaurant staff, not delivery riders. If people wish to use their favourite app MENUVENU still list all the delivery options for each restaurant.

Foodies get restaurant quality without visiting the restaurant! Also, by using MenuVenu, you ensure that the restaurants won’t have to sacrifice their profits to delivery companies so you’re supporting local businesses.

MENUVENU say that most of their restaurants are not on the delivery apps so it brings new choice and options to hungry Phuketians. From 5 star to street food their restaurants want to offer their customers priority service, fresh food, served fast! It’s a new generation of food delivery which connects foodies with their favourite eateries.

LIFE IS A BEACH

With more than 30 beaches to choose from, the island of Phuket stands for its nickname, which is the Pearl of Andaman. Whether you seek to experience the tranquillity of Mai Khao Beach or prefer to mingle among the crowd on Patong Beach, our handy guide will help you find the perfect spot to get the suntan you’ve been dreaming of.

OUR TOP PICKS

Every month, our team selects for you the top 3 beaches you should visit while staying in Phuket. All of them have their pros and cons, so we try to provide a good mix between the popular ones and the less crowded ones.

Nai Yang Beach: Nai Yang is a charming beach a few minutes south of Phuket International Airport. The northern end of the beach is part of Sirinath National Park, which protects the beach from any further developments. The atmosphere here is laid-back, and the beach is excellent for families. If you are looking to eat fresh seafood right on the beach, Nai Yang is definitely the right spot to visit in Phuket!

Surin Beach: Located between Bang Tao and Kamala Beach, Surin Beach is one of the most beautiful stretches of beach on the

island. Surin Beach boasts fine white sand and emerald sea, and is a favorite amongst locals and tourists alike. The beach often has rather strong winds, making it an ideal spot for windsurfing.

Ao Sane Beach: Ao Sane Beach is a small, almost hidden bay, located north of Nai Harn Beach. To access this beach, you need to drive through the grounds of The Nai Harn Phuket beach resort. Ao Sane is a small, rocky beach that is excellent for snorkeling. There’s a small on-site restaurant to grab a bite to eat at when you tire from splashing in the waves.
