Guilford activities: “One of my favorite activities is the International Festival, which is held in April and seeks to highlight the different cultures on campus. There is a lot of great music and food. It is a beautiful sight! Why Guilford: “My admission counselor made me feel safe and secure in Guilford. I did not want to be a number to an institution, I wanted to be a person.

Guilford opportunities: “As a Bonner Scholar, I have begun to understand how intricate the things I participate in are, how connected they are to who I am. I am currently the Student Leader of the Community AIDS Awareness Project and in this role, I have become more committed to people rather than a cause.
