The project seeks to develop a series of social spaces within a coherent set of reinvented commercial buildings. It proposes to reinstate spaces to display art in everyday life and searches to revitalize the sector through the design of a diverse commercial artery by reusing specific typologies and therefore saving and enhancing the area’s vernacular heritage.

A host structure is installed in the heart of many communities in Nunavut. This structure is the home port of several fragmented volumes. These fragments are mobile and their programming is flexible, adapting over time to the needs of the community and changes in the landscape and territory.

The bending spaces project suggests new opportunities to enhance the experience of downtown Salt Lake City. It provides dynamic structures to stimulate a new sense of appropriation and understanding of the district with an intervention that activates the streetscape through a comprehensive human scale.

The introduction of a new project of housing and public spaces in the industrial context of the Bellechasse area was an opportunity to examine the potential of transforming marginal urban areas and to imagine new ways of dwelling in an urban environment as a community based on communication within neighbors.

This elementary school projectwas part of the redevelopment of the Mercat dels Encants sector. Functioning as a “campus, the project sought to use extorior space as a place of transition of the various programs and provide buildings with dimensions more suited to everyday life of the students and teachers.

This project asked for the design of a neighborhood public library with an heterogeneous program. Our desire was to play with the ambiguity of an open space to allow for fluidity between different program elements. The plan libre and non-partitioned space generated a malleable environment, adapting to the needs of user.

The exercise was to design a private accommodation for a collector and to implement a public exhibition space. The fundamental opposition between private space and public space has been the driving force behind this project. My party was to generate a dynamic form that could accommodate both types of spaces while retaining a certain fluidity.

The project was to rethink the domesticity of the North American suburbia within an high density agglomeration.Through this excercise, I applied notions of interconnections and osmosis to generate a new kind of social space. The different spaces were relating to their context, exploring the spatial limits of an individual within a community.
