The legal expert is to form the Special Purpose Vehicle to deliver and operate Melbourne Metro 1. Remember to: Do your research for competent consultants and contractors with track record. For social infrastructure such as the stations contextual understanding of Melbourne is important. Bring the right balance of organisations, including a mix of national and international experts. Remember that Melbourne Metro 1 has both, social and civil infrastructure components. Finance expertise leads the “business sustainability” of the PPP. Looking at the right balance of providing social and economic infrastructure and services to Melbourne commuters and the community at large but also finding sources of monetary revenue to pay-‐off debt and make a profit over the duration of the concession. There is a need of business innovative and strategic thinking just as in setting up any ambitious new enterprise! Remember that you are responsible to investigate planning and technology aspects that are innovative providing short and long term value! The operations specialist consultant is to bring the best ICT technologies, measures and policies to ensure high operational standards and KPIs. Benchmarking will be and important aspect of ensuring improved service and delivery to the community. Provide benchmark figures and hierarchy of performance indicators. For the EOI presentation schedule will be finalised once all SPV teams are registered. This will include date, time and venue location. Guideline to the EOI presentation will be attached to the schedule. There will be 15minutes per EOI presentation and 10 slides (or equivalent if using Prezi or other media). An expert industry panel is to follow up with questions to the SPV and will submit a mark.
