Student Art Competition Student artwork to hang in Mayor’s office The Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival Foundation supports the Student Art Mural Contest along with Segers, Inc. and Jubilee Ace Hardware. Nine secondary schools on the Eastern Shore will participate in the annual art contest showcased traditionally at the visiting artist’s dinner. This year due to COVID-19 restrictions, voting will be different. First, second and third place winners will hang in the Mayor’s office for a year until the next year’s art is selected. Showcasing the student artwork with the Alabama theme this year will be a first and coincides with the 69th Fairhope Annual Arts and Crafts Festival featuring only Alabama artists. The 2020 winners will be placed in CK Collection during the 2021 Festival.
