Giving Back

The mission of the Fairhope Arts & Crafts Festival Foundation

Part of the mission of the Arts and Crafts Foundation is to give back to the community. After the Feestival the proceeds of the festival are donated to beneficiaries in the community in the form of a grant or a scholarship. The selection of beneficiaries is determined by the volunteers. The volunteers nominate groups/organizations who they would like to see receive a donation. Potential recipients must be tied to an art-based activity or enhance the local arts in some way. The Board then reviews the nominations and votes. Some of last year’s beneficiaries include:

Fairhope Sewing School, Dance Without Limits, Baldwin Co. Youth Orchestra, The Dogwood Trail Program, The Exceptional Foundation, The Friends of the Fairhope Library, The Friends of the Fairhope Museum, Baldwin Pops, Rotary Youth Club, Fairhope High School Band, Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department.
