Residency
I am not a resident at any particular club, but I am a regular at the art. haus underground house nights and have played several venues in Bahrain, such as Coral Bay, Zoe Lounge, Brazil Lounge and Block 338. I have recently opened for Jade during the “Shifting Gears” event, one of many Grand Prix parties.
Career
Deep House or Hard Techno. There is a certain rhythm and vibe I look for in music that I feel represents me and makes me want to dance.

I am currently working as a PR Specialist at an oil and gas company, but I DJ and produce music when I am not wearing my suit and tie.
DJ Dave Clarke; his technical skills are insane and he mixes many different styles and tones of Techno in one set. His World Service mix set is still my favourite Techno set of all time.

I would love to be based in Bahrain, but a future Bahrain that would have built a reputation for being the electronic musical hub of the Middle East. Currently, Malja Bahrain is the first step towards this easily attainable future, and I try to spend as much time as I can there, learning from and teaching my fellow peers.

In a bustling city, following a schedule full of activities with my beautiful wife.

In the summer, I love to be near the sea. In winter, I mostly relax on the couch in front of the TV.

I have worked in some of the major clubs bars in Bahrain over the years: BJ’s, Likwid, JJs, Henry’s, Tramps, Savage Garden, The Underground, The Grid, to name a few, more recently, my very own Cocoon Lounge Blaq Velvet Underground.

Since I started DJing in the 80s, my roots go back to turntablism, but over the years, I have progressed with the sound and style of crowd I have catered too, and varied my style from Hip Hop to the

After I am done with college, I am planning to move to Canada to focus on my music and designing career. 2016 is going to be a big year for me, as it will mark my ten years in the DJing field; I will be taking it on an international level to prove that Bahrain has great artists that deserve recognition.

I have played in Morocco, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Bahrain. I also produce music; I started back in 2006 when I discovered Ableton Live, which is a great software for both beginners and professionals. The availability of professional digital audio workstations has enabled pro studio quality production methods for everyone

I love all kinds of music, but I prefer Lounge, Deep, and Tech House.
Greatest Influence
Back in the early 90s when I started DJing, I was more into Hip Hop and R&B. I think I was influenced a lot by DJ cut Killer and DJ Craze, but in early 2000s, I switched to House music. There are so many names, like DJ Kerri Chandler, DJ Carl Cox, DJ John Digweed, DJ Richie Hawtin, and DJ Marco Carola, that influence me to date.

None at the moment, as I’m very busy between my residency at Zoë, my music production, and my family. I still do attend private events from time to time.

I’m always learning, and I would love to be a better DJ and a better music producer.
