6 Rare, Expensive, or Hard-to-Hard Guns to Look for on GunBroker.com Are you looking for rare, expensive, or hard-to-find firearms on GunBroker.com? Here are some that you can conceivably find if you are lucky. Whether you are looking for rifles, shotguns, or pistols for sale or auction, you might find something that is a piece of history, an odd firearm that was not widely produced, or other exciting finds. Here are some to look out for.

LeMat Revolver An interesting piece of cowboy history, the LeMat was not just a revolver. First, it held eight or nine rounds, which is unusual for revolvers. But hidden in this 1800s revolver is a secret 20 gauge shotgun. This might be a familiar sight to anyone who watched Westworld, as the Man in Black’s revolver of choice was the LeMat. Union Switch & Signal 1911 What is so rare about this 1911? It was created by Union Switch & Signal, which you may know better as a railroad signaling company. Doing their part for the war effort, Union created about 50,000 pistols, the second lowest of any company. Only Singer, the sewing machine company, made fewer.

SP5K The military H&K MP5K is out of the reach of most civilians, not just for cost but for the NFA restrictions. Instead, it might be better to get the civilian-legal version, the H&K SP5K. These are also expensive but are still much more affordable. The MP5K is often fully automatic or has burst fire, which is highly restricted for civilians, but the SP5K is semi-automatic. The MP5K, and by extension the SP5K, is the shortened version of the MP5. Holland & Holland Royal Over under shotguns are often the most expensive type, and high-quality ones can be in the six figures. The Holland & Holland Royal over under shotgun is one such shotgun. It has a backaction sidelock and a shallow, elegantly bolstered slim body with metal engraving and offers very low recoil. A pleasure to shoot, each H&H Royal takes 900 hours to build. Barrett M82A1 If you have ever wanted to spend multiple dollars per round shot, the Barrett M82A1 50 caliber rifle is for you. Large, heavy, and with plenty of recoil, it can be fun, if painful, to shoot. Also, bear in mind that the Barrett will likely destroy most targets at the range in a single shot, and some ranges may not allow the Barrett at all for this or noise considerations. For a collection, it is definitely an interesting addition. Laugo Alien The Laugo Alien, created by Czech manufacturer Laugo Arms, claims to have the lowest bore axis of any 9mm pistol. Compared to the Glock 17, which already has a low bore axis, it is easy to see why they are making that claim. The Alien is meant specifically for the Production division of the IPSC sport shooting competition. The barrel sits very low on the grip frame and is permanently fixed to the frame. Similar to an H&K P7, it has a gas piston delayed blowback system.
