TAV: THE ARTISAN VILLAGE Eatonton, GA The Artisan Village Proposal Porject, is primarily focused on promoting the artistic culture in rural Georgia and attracting the visitors to the historic city of Eatonton, GA. From Rock Eagle to the Georgia Writer’s Museum, Eatonton has a very rich history. My design for the Artisan Village is taken from a previous class project where we developed and enhance the visitor experience for Rock Eagle. I wanted to bring that same essence of creating an experience by developing a space that not only caters to the artisan but the visitor as well. Keeping in mind of the program, my design shows a special relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces and how those particular spaces can be interpreted.

The Eatonton Art Village Community The Art Village is will be a place of community and creativity. Fellowship will be encouraged by the communal art spaces and culture will be embraced by the subtle references to Georgia’s writer’s history.
