Alex Dobosh, General Manager of 84 Lumber Orchard Park, has been with the company for 26 years. 84 Lumber Company is the nation’s largest privately held supplier of building materials, manufactured components and industry-leading services for single and multi-family residences and commercial buildings.
84 Lumber is a family-owned company with high standards of personalized service for their customers. The operation is truly a team effort. The sales, installation, operations, delivery, and inside teams work in tandem to create a customer experience tailored to the needs of each project.
Alex praises the efforts of his team, mentioning that while they have a light-hearted and fun working atmosphere, “everyone knows that getting the job done for our customers comes first and foremost. These guys make it happen each day.”
The company is also very active in the community, taking pride in giving back to charitable causes wherever they can.
Alex has created a culture of excellence at the Orchard Park location, raising the bar on customer service. “With a team like ours, it is virtually impossible to not be inspired to come to work,” he says of his fellow associates. “Working with these guys is my favorite part of the job as well as interacting with our customers.”
Some of Alex’s most cherished moments during his tenure at 84 Lumber are seeing associates he works with “get opp ortunities and be promoted, enabling them to fulfill their goals. They are the future of the company, and the future is bright.”
Alex dedicates his life to providing for his wife of 25 years, Tricia, and his children, Jacob and Chloe, and he loves leading the team at 84 Lumber’s Orchard Park location.
