Enlist the kids to give you the night off from dinner, or have them select the perfect take-out menu for a Valentine’s Day dinner. Children do not always have the opportunity to give back to their parents, and on February 14 they can step up their game. Move up bed times a little so the kids are tucked in early enough to allow you to cuddle on the couch.

Larry L. Dunton, Sr., 81 of Naples, New York, passed away on January 26, 2023, after a brief illness.
Larry was born on March 6,1941,to Louis Dunton and Florence (Hughner) Dunton and had seven sisters and two brothers, all of whom predeceased him.
After Larry graduated from Marcus Whitman in 1959, he enlisted in the Army. After his military service ended in 1962, he worked for Rochester Products as a forklift operator for over 35 years until his retirement. He spent his life working in the automotive industry and pursuing his passion for buying/selling cars on the side, owning more than 200 vehicles over his lifetime.
Larry is survived by his children: David (Nancy) Dunton, Larry (Kimberly) Dunton, and Debra (Frank) Hamlin.Two sons predeceased Larry: Jamie Dunton (1970-2020) and Chris Dunton (1964-1991).
He was a proud family man who enjoyed life’s simple pleasures: spending time with family/friends, keeping an immaculate yard, and classic cars. He was a devoted father, grandfather, uncle, and friend who showed up in good times and tough times. He had a great smile and an inviting way that welcomed everyone. An all-around good guy who is missed by all who loved him. He was a member of the VFW and Moose Lodge.
Friends may call from 11am-1pm on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Baird-Moore Funeral Home in Naples where funeral services will be held at 1pm. A reception will follow at the Naples VFW.
In lieu of owers, please consider making a memorial contribution to the Naples Ambulance Corp. or Friendship House of Middlesex.
