Gorham: Donald Carl Parsons, age 50, passed away with his family by his side on Friday, May 19, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Daye (Barry) Parsons; two children, Ashleigh and Carl Parsons; parents, Spence and Donna (Harter) Parsons; two siblings, Grant Fletcher (Maureen Basil) and Regina (Bill) Czora; mother-inlaw and father-in-law, Nanette and Bill Barry; three nieces; two nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins; dear family friends and former AFS students, Craig Chudleigh and Bridget VanderBush. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Carl and Joanne Harter, Walter and Margaret Hayward.

Don was born in Canandaigua, attended Canandaigua schools and was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy class of 1991. He was a sales executive for HEP Sales. Don enjoyed camping, shing, hunting, gardening, bird watching, making maple syrup on his property, spending time in the woods and his hobby farm. He was an avid fan of lacrosse and Syracuse University basketball. e most important thing to Don was his family and he loved supporting his children in their school activities.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, June 16 from 3-6pm at Canandaigua Country Club Event Center (Fallbrook House), 1 Fallbrook Park, Canandaigua. In lieu of owers, memorial contributions may be made to Wilmot Cancer Institute, O ce of Advancement, 300 E. River Rd., PO Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627.
