The 2021 SSgt. Alexandria G l e a s o n - M o r r o w M e m o r i a l Scholarship Fundraiser Ride & Rally will roll out of the Poppy Field Veterans Monument at Gypsy Lane Mt. Morris on Saturday, August 7th. Let’s join together for a day of fun and fellowship as our valued community helps fund two memorial scholarships from this local soldier who lost her life while serving our Country in Jordan. Event Registration begins at 9am; Ceremony 11am; Departure 11:30 for an 80mile scenic ride. Ride & Rally conclude at the Dansville American Legion Post #87 where food, music, 50/50 drawings and more will occur. Cost is $25 Drive, $10 each passenger; price includes the food. Police were warned of the bombing in advance, it exploded before the anonymous caller said it would. Attention eventually turned to Eric Robert Rudolph, who was captured in 2003 after hiding in the mountains for fi ve years.

Springwater-Webster Crossing Historical Society is Hosting a book signing for author Julie Jeffery Manwarren and her newly released book which showcases the photography of Floyd Ingraham with pictures taken of Springwater and the s u r r o u n d i n g a r e a b e t w e e n 1900-1920. Sunday, August 1st at the Springwater’s Community Day Car Show. Books can be purchased and signed by the author at the car show. The Springwater Historical Society and Museum will also be open. The museum has several Ingraham original prints and Ingraham family artifacts in its collection.
