WHAT’S YOUR HURRY?

In Joshua 4 we read of 4 Jewish Priests of God carrying the Ark of the Covenant (not Noah’s), walking toward the raging waters of Jordan at flood stage, then when their toes were dipped in the water, the waters heaped up and stopped flowing. They stood in the middle of the river till all the Israelites passed over. All were hurrying to get over before the miracle stopped. Some hurried because of fear, some for peer pressure of family or friends, etc. Why do you hurry through life? Have you let the world set the pace? Have you passed right on by God, His men and His church? Going 60 miles per hour and not knowing where you’re going when you die! THINK!

10 1/2 year old sisters, Midnight & Shadow, are both very docile and love to join our laps at TV time or whenever. Dog less at the time (all we ever knew), we temporarily housed them since a friend couldn’t keep them any longer. We never knew what we were missing by never having cats before and now we would be lost without them. They have brought such happiness to our lives. Fate made us cat lovers!
