Acts 17 says the Bereans were more noble because they received the Bible with all readiness of mind... they were willing to listen. Also it says, “they searched the scriptures daily whether those things were so.” Clear statements of the Word are bedrock. A young farmer in N. Dakota bought a barometer he paid $24.65 for. It predicted a storm was ahead but as he looked outside it was clear. He returned it to get his money back. Returning home he was alarmed he saw evidence of a storm ten miles out. Turning into their yard, their home had blown away. Furniture in the apple trees and the bathtub was 3 miles away. Grandma believed the barometer and took refuge in the storm cellar. You can trust the Bible, what it says is true. May God bless your way.
