Avon Preservation and Historical Society - For the month of December, the Avon Preservation and Historical Society will be celeb r a t i n g t h e e x c i t e m e n t o f Christmas morning by displaying toys that have been enjoyed by children throughout the years. Toys from the early 1900’s to the early 2000’s will fill the windows and display cases throughout the museum. Come see if you can find your beloved toy from yesteryear. Veteran Plus 1 - Paint Platoon Our first two Paint Platoon activities were well received, so we’re doing it again. Veterans plus 1 can come join our paint platoon in January and make a glass fusion creation. Troop 85 Spaghetti Dinner Leicester BSA Troop 85 will be holding their annual Spaghetti Dinner on Friday, January 27 at Celebrate! Church. Serving runs from 4:30 - 7:00, or until the spaghetti is gone. Cost is $8 (ages 13+), $4 (ages 5 - 12), under 5 are free! We are back to hosting inside, so come in and sit down and have dinner with friends and family. Take-outs are also available. Tickets can be purchased from any Troop 85 Scout or at the door.
