WHAT IS A TRUST?

A trust is a relationship in which another party is given authority to handle a person’s assets for the benefit of that person’s beneficiaries. Mrs.Peggy L.Macauley-Jordan passed away March 31, 2023 at her home in Rock Hill, SC. Peggy was born in Warsaw, NY on January 14, 1948. She was the daughter of omas James “Tim” Macauley, Jr. and Ruth May Weppler “Weppie”Macauley.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Will Jordan of Rock Hill, SC.; her sister, Pamela “Pammy”Macauley of York, NY, and many cousins and friends.

Peggy graduated from Geneseo Central in 1966, and from Clemson University with a degree in Zoology in 1970. She received a Master of Science Degree in Speech Pathology from Winthrop University in 1975 and was a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Peggy enjoyed working with her students as a speech pathologist in the York School District until retirement. Another of her passions was dogs. She was a member of Charlotte Dog Training Club for 30 years and a member of Piedmont Kennel Club, Backwoods Hunting Retriever Club and Labrador Retriever Club. She loved training her dogs, teaching dog training classes and competing with her dogs in Obedience Trials, AKC Agility Trials, Retriever Trials, Fast Cat, etc.
