SAFETY IN NUMBERS: WHY IT PAYS TO REPLACE HEADLIGHT BULBS IN PAIRS
Why replace aging headlight bulbs?
Few drivers include headlight bulb replacement in their vehicle maintenanceroutines.Butoldheadlightbulbscandrasticallycompromise visibility at night, when drivers’ visual acuity is naturally reduced by as much as 70 percent. As headlight bulbs age, the effects of exposure to sunlight, ozone and pollution can significantly reduce their light output. According to Philips Automotive, a leading manufacturer of vehicle lighting components, headlight bulbs begin to project significantly less lightwithintwotothreeyearsoftheirinitialusage, producingdimmerlight outputs that compromise the safety of drivers and their passengers. For example, new headlight bulbs capable of projecting 240-foot beams in front of a vehicle may see that projection dwindle to just 160 feet within two to three years.

WebMD notes that sodium intake should be limited to 2,300 milligrams or less per day. To flip or not to flip: Flipping properties gained popularity in the second decade of this century, but figures from the property database curator ATTOM Data Solutions indicates that returns on investments in flipped properties declined for the third straight year in 2020. Though flipping can still yield a strong return, investors may not realize the returns on flipped properties that they might have realized as recently as five years ago. Potential investors should conduct some research regarding real estate market trends, including flipping data where available, to make the most informed decision possible.
Tips For Comfortable Camping
Account for the temperature - Temperature will go a long way toward improving or compromising comfort. Choose sleeping bags rated for the temperature. If you’ll be doing plenty of fall or winter camping, you’ll have a place to sleep that’s designed to be used at the time of year you’re camping. When sleeping in warm temperatures, dress so you can add or remove layers as needed. A portable, battery-operated fan also can be a game-changer if it is hot and stuffy in the tent.

Walmart wonderfulness
Thank you so very much to the wonderful man (and his wife!) who chased me down in the Walmart parking lot to tell me I had left my wallet at the checkout counter. I had $1 in that wallet. I also had 10 IDs/store cards, 3 credit cards, 1 $50 gift card, 2 bank cards, and 4 blank checks. (Mostly) all eventually replaceable. Most important to me is an irreplaceable photo of my husband’s grandparents that I am going to have enlarged, which would have been a loss without measure. When the lady at the service desk handed me my wallet (she already had it under lock and key), she said “Have a blessed day!” I told her I just did!
Thank you for following the rules of the road
I’d like to thank those drivers on the roads that use their turn signals, come to complete stops at stop signs, and all the other rules that are not always followed. As a mom who is teaching her teenager to drive and to follow all the laws, it’s nice to see other drivers reinforcing what should be done. By doing things properly we can all help to keep the roads safe for drivers young and old!
Doctors giving disability placards too easily
It is a big problem and it is abused terribly, with disability placards that people truly don't need and people running to the doctors to get their pets signed off as emotional support animal when their pet is not allowed in an apartment building. This is so abused. Why do the doctors just sign off so easily to someone who walks in and wants their pet certified when they don't have a psychological diagnosis or aren't a combat vet? Sure, people just want to take their pet to an apartment building that has a no pet policy. And I know for a fact this is done frequently along with people who truly don't need a disability placard for their car. Doctors need to examine this extensively before just passing out anything to everyone. It's very unfair to people who truly need it. I have seen people struggling with canes because they cannot get a handicap parking spot because of people who abuse it. These doctors need to be held responsible/accountable. Shame on you; you know you are faking.
No license required?
Did I miss something? When did it become legal for off-road recreational vehicles to be ON the road with registered, licensed, insured, and inspected vehicles? Did I also miss a drop in age requirement for drivers on the road? Apparently kids as young as 12-14 are able to drive their UTV's and side by side along the highway at any time of the day. Is it legal for me to buy one of these, slap a "slow moving vehicle" sign on the back and drive it to work? I'm in!! Think of the thousands I'll save in fees!

Students of history tell us that we can foretell the future by reviewing the past. In fact, it has been suggested that we can control our own future by applying the lessons the past has taught us.
It is to be hoped that mankind is making progress through the centuries and not merely repeating the same mistakes. However, to progress, we must make changes and improvement in the way we do things. Since history does seem to repeat, it gives us a valuable guide to help us determine what changes are needed and how to make them.
We are proud of our excellent record for dedicated service to the families of this community. We suggest that you come in and get acquainted. Let us answer your questions without obligation.
