Here at Home, we’re getting into the full swing of summer! While the temperatures climb, we’re packing our bags for some cool local trips and staycations, diving into our new favorite beach read, and delving into all of the History, Arts + Culture the Rochester area has to offer.

From the far reaches of the shores of Lake Ontario to the town of Perry, NY, tucked into the foothills, we’re sharing some awesome getaways to make the most of your summer. Spend a weekend venturing out to Skaneateles or make a day trip to explore the beautiful sites of Perry and nearby Letchworth State Park and Silver Lake.

Rochester has some of the finest arts and culture to offer, and we’re looking forward to spending a sunny afternoon checking out local breweries and wineries, and making a few pitstops at a museum or two! While we’re at it, we’re also excited to try out some new fashion ideas from Sammi Cohen of The Soubrette Brunette and support local Cystic Fibrosis nonprofit and Rochester’s Finest with Michael Sellars!

It’s also the perfect time to tackle some last-minute home improvement jobs to make the most of our outdoor spaces! After a long day of getting out and exploring, there’s nothing quite like unwinding on the back deck with a refreshing cocktail and a brand-new book. It’s good to be Home.
