It’s that time of year again: the air is crisp, the leaves are changing, and we’re preparing to welcome fall back once more. Here at Home we’re gearing up to celebrate the season and all it entails, whether that’s a cozy sweater or an extra cup of coffee!

In Rochester we’re sipping on coffee, cocktails and kombucha with some locals and celebrating people of all abilities with the non-profit Endless Highway. Being a women-run magazine ourselves, we’re more than excited to spotlight some of the women-run businesses in our area! Local women are helping to put a pep in our step, whether that’s Chelsey Zawadzki of The Hive Coworking Studio or Brie Saskowski of Baked By Brie! October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and The Breast Cancer Confidence Project is empowering and uplifting with meaningful photography and the impact it has for survivors.

Fall is also an excellent time to tackle that last minute project to make your home your dream home before the cold weather of winter sets in, and Kitchens by Countryside has you covered when it comes to the perfect place to prep all of your holiday meals.

Looking to get out and about or maybe shake things up this season? We also have you covered with a bucket list full of fall-inspired and local-oriented ideas! Come and join us as we dive into autumn and all the beauty it has to offer.
