It’s a new year which means it’s time for new adventures! Maybe that means getting outdoors more or reevaluating our relationship with ourselves and our neighbors. For some, perhaps it means a little more self-reflection and self-care. Here in Western New York the year may start out on the chillier side, but we’re not about to let that stop us.

A new year can make way for transformation, and no one knows that better than event designer, florist, and interior styling consultant Erin McDonald, who’s changing ordinary spaces into timeless masterpieces with his passion for design. Make the most of your event and have some peace of mind!

While we long for warmer days, local photographers have found ways to enjoy the splendor of winter weather in the Rochester area. Perusing photos may encourage some exploration of the outdoors, prompting us to take a moment to enjoy the beauty around us during the season. Winter is also the perfect time to cuddle up with your special someone, and we’ve kept an eye out for the coziest weekend getaways!

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and love and snowflakes are in the air.
