Welcome to the 2021 Victor, New York Business Directory Sponsored by the Victor Community Development Office. This is the new one stop shop for business resources under the direction of Amy DiPrima, Executive Director of the Victor Chamber of Commerce and Kathy Rayburn, Director of Economic Development for Victor. Together we serve large and small businesses, residents and visitors enjoying all that Victor has to offer. Our goal is to provide business support while working to bring the community back stronger and more unified, and to drive economic growth in Victor and supporting business during this pandemic and beyond. The COVID-19 pandemic has been devastating in many ways to us all, but it has also brought about the positive change to a collaboration of our efforts. We plan to strengthen our community with the help of all business leaders in the Town and Village of Victor. By working together and working smarter we will benefit the community in the most productive way. We encourage you to shop locally. Local independent business invests more in our community, school, and local charities.
The leaders in Victor acknowledge the importance of retaining and attracting businesses to the area to maintain growth in our economic vitality of Victor. Through our collaborative partnership we can provide the following: low interest loans; facade improvement funding; and administration of grant funds from state and federal agencies to local businesses; and much more! We work in partnership with stakeholders in both the public and the private sector, and other Victor municipal departments to maintain and improve the vitality of the downtown business district, encourage a thriving, sustainable, small business sector, faster job growth, employment, and entrepreneurial opportunities. We also assist with business location and relocation by maintaining a comprehensive listing of available sites.
Our partners’ sponsorship of events and programs allow us to recognize achievements in the community and business as well as showcase offerings of local businesses. Events and Programs include: Hang Around Victor Day where businesses and nonprofit organizations can raise awareness of their contributions to the community by showcasing their products and services; Business and Women of Excellence Awards; Monthly Networking events, Job Expos, Wine walks, Halloween in the Village, Merchant Mobile Markets, Care information package with swag and coupons form merchants, Small Business Saturday, and Holiday events. We also sponsor education and informational sessions featuring topics relevant to business, education, and networking. We continue to come up with new and creative ideas to support business and organizations within the community.
With over 700 acres of parks, six golf courses, 60+ miles of hiking and biking trails, cross country skiing, cultural attractions, and state recognized schools, Victor is a top-notch community.
