Index We structure the different physics topics in experiment modules. One module consists of: - Students experiment kit(s) “SEK“ - Experiment manual - Accessories Enclosed chart shall show which kits are required for the specific modules.
Experiment manuals NTL experiment manuals are didactically prepared by well experienced professionals. Experiments then guarantee a maximum of fun for the user(s).
KITS (SEK)
These are available as hardcopies (P9110-ff)
or in digital Adobe Acrobat format on a CD-ROM (P9150-ff).
The CD-ROM also contains experiment results and experiment videos.

Storage in blocks Storage of similar items in a tray, each students group gets then only those items which are required for the experiment.
NTL – trays: -
Solid trays with boosted base Gouges for optimal placing of the partitions Deep moulded control handles placed at the front and the ending Slots for labelling Transparent partitions Material: PP
► The student groups only get those items which are required for the experiment ► Easy check of completeness when collecting items ► Items, used in several chapters, do not have to be multiple ordered – cost saving ► Optimal use of given storage space

► The groups of one class can treat different experiments
For portable storage of up to 12 big boxes or 24 small storage boxes, carrying capacity up to 200 kg;
► Less expenditure of time when handing out and collect the items
Roller made from ABS with 4 steering wheels (D = 100 mm) and fixing brake
► The box is constructed very solid from polypropylen, stackable with replacable cover
Outer dimensions: approx. 615 x 415 x 140 mm
► The box insert is made of plastics and is therefore not in danger of refractory ► Due to a special module storage, the items can be clearly sto red on predefined places ► Plans for storage of all components help to easily replace the items after experimenting as well when ordering spare parts

Rail stand material

Most of the components in this set are manufactured from aluminium which is anodized for additional protection. Aluminium is highly resistant and does not rust. The threaded ends of all of screws are rounded, ensuring that components are fixed very firmly in place. The rods and bolts are made of nickel-plated steel. All rods, provided with the student experiment equipment, have a standard diameter of 10 mm.

An important part of the software “Coach 6 (Full version) ist the video analysis with automatic point tracing.
synchron und in Echtzeit manuell und automatisch Hebestange
Synchron and in Real-Time, both manually and automatically No matter if saved videos or real-time captures with the camera - you will have fun. Make a video in the gym hall of a basketballmatch/shot; your students will be excited and curious about the evaluation. Investigate e.g. the trajectory of a homogeneous cylindrical body like in our picture above. The two endings are red and blue and the center is tagged yellow. The movement of these 3 points (up to 8 points can simultaneously be tracked) will be analized, with the focus in all diagrams is called black for a better visibility. The center performs an uniform motion (linear increase at the x/t-diagram or approximately horizontal gradient at the vx/t-diagram) in the horizontal. In vertical position the movement of the center is uniformly accelerated (Parabel in the y/t-diagram or linear gradient in the vy/t-diagram).The endings describe rolling curves. At horizontal speed the superimposed sinusoidal velocity change becomes clearly visible. The video-analysis enables measurement and reporting of transactions that were recorded on video clips, even outside the classroom. These could be ordinary everyday-events like e.g. the flight of a basketball or a ride with the rollercoaster. But it may also be unusual processes - such as the impact of a crash test dummy on an airbag. The location and time data of a motion are determined by mouse-click in the frames of the video clip. This data can be displayed in a graph or table and are available for further analyses. They can also be compared with analytical functions (fit) or numerical calculations (modeling). By including events outside the classroom students learn the importance of science in their own lives and the use of mathematically formulated laws to understand the nature. Coach 6 has been developed by the AMSTEL Institute/CMA (Centre for Microcomputer Applications), University of Amsterdam.

(Advice: For specific experiments additional sensors are required)
In opposition to the conventional temperature recording methodss with the help of a thermometer and graphical illustration in a chart, the recording of the measured values happens a several times a second. A sensor reacts faster than a liquid thermometer. The results can then get easily illustrated graphically or if required, also illustrated in a chart for further proccessing.
The absolute zero point can be calculated due to the recording of temperature and pressure changes.

Photoelectric Effect
70
Ordering information DR420-1P Planck's constant compact apparatus
A fantastic apparatus: With this apparatus the Plank’s constant can be easily determined within an error level of 5%. Also, the electron affinity can be calculated as well The appearing effect is called the outer photoeffect. Due to electromegnetic radiation electrones get released from a metal surface. The apparatus has an embedded photodiode, LEDs with different wave lenghts get used as monocromatic light sources. The emitted light then passes the opening of the ring shaped anode and meets the surface of the cathode. At the photoeffect, a photon emits its whole energy (E = h * f) to the electron in case an electron gets hit by a photon. Part of the energy is required to hit the electron out of the metal surface (electron affinity). The remaining energy then is at the electrons disposal as kinetic energy. Ekin = h * f – ф The critical voltage for the 5 available wave lengths get measured within this experiment. All further calculations are based on this.
