Mulled Cider Recipe This is my very favorite spiced cider recipe ever…it’s the perfect blend of sweet, tart, and spicy warm. It’s perfect for holiday gettogethers, or enjoying the quiet beauty of the season from your front porch. Ingredients: 1 64 oz. bottle of 100% apple juice (or apple cider, your pick) 1 64 oz. bottle of 100% cranberry juice 1 bag fresh cranberries 45 cinnamon sticks 1 t. allspice 1/8th t. cloves (a pinch) Direction: Tie ground allspice and cloves into a coffee filter and drop into a large pot. This recipe fills my 3 quart pot! Drop in cinnamon sticks and pour in cranberries. Warm over medium heat, and allow to simmer until flavors blend. Allow to cool to a safe temperature, and serve. Leftovers may be stored in the fridge in original bottles, or pitcher. I love to fill up my Pyrex percolator carafe, as I can pop it directly on the stovetop to warm up cider for breakfast. Yields 128 oz. (recipe may be halved easily) Step by step photo tutorial on this mulled cider recipe is here: http://www.gwens-nest.com/family-favorite-recipes/mulled-cider-recipe
