This show by Sir Peter Blake, the leading exponent of British Pop Art, will present some of his latest prints, which testify to his continuing inspirational artistic talent that truly brings forth the beauty of everydayness.
Works will include the latest release ‘USA Series’, a 5 print portfolio set and ‘75 Years of the Beano’ special edition. Other works in the show include canvas print of Circus (Paris suite), large Eiffel tower Lenticular and the very rare classic pieces from Blake’s Cigarette packets and the 1991 Alphabet collection.
Sir Peter Blake's work reflects his fascination with all streams of popular culture and the beauty to be found in everyday objects and surroundings. Many of his works feature found printed materials such as photographs, comic strips or advertising texts, combined with bold geometric patterns and the use of primary colours.
