Participants Guests: 20 adults and 4 pupils. 4 Turkish pupils stay with Danish pupils in their host families from Monday to Thursday and go to school and join 6. B classes during their stay. Arrival Sunday night 26/10: Finland 2 persons. Tyrkey 8 persons. 4 adults and 4 pupils. Arrival Monday 27/10: Ireland 6 persons Billund 18.10. Italy 8 persons Billund 12.15 All together 20 adults and 4 pupils. Agenda for Comenius Monday 27/10 9.00 Welcome to Denmark /Thyborøn Skole in the staffroom by headmaster. 9.00 – 10.15 Touring the school and joining classes Coffee break 10.30 Sightseeing tour in Thyborøn guided by Tine and class 6. B 12.00 Lunch. Sandwiches at school 13.00 Visit Kystcentret ( science activity center dealing with the coastline and waves) and the Aquarium Coffee break at school 14.15 Free time for more sightseeing, relaxing and shopping 20.00 Welcome party for the children in class 6.b (party made by parents together with the pupils from the class)
Tuesday 28/10 9.00 – 10.15 Headmaster Michael Laursen tells about the Danish school system and Thyborøn School Coffee break 10.30 – 12.00 School-Show for our foreign guests and parents performed and decorated by all the pupils. 12.30 – 13.15 Lunch at school - Typical Danish lunch 13.15 Workshop: Hands on ‘Twinspace’ for participating teachers. 14.00 Comenius meeting led by project leader Salvatore Forte • • • • •

Wednesday 29/10 8.45 – 10.15 Joining lessons/classes at school 10.50 Departure for Town Center in Lemvig by train with local entertainment and coffee. 11.25 Arrival Lemvig 11.45 Mayor Erik Flyvholm and head of education Ole Pedersen welcome guests at Town center. 12.45 Koncert at the Music School 13.00 Lunch on your own in Lemvig 14.30 Sightseeing, museum and shopping in Lemvig Train back to Thyborøn 19.00 God bye dinner in Thyborøn restaurant Mallemukken
Thursday 30/10 9.00 – 10.15 Touring the school and joining classes with Karen and class 9. A Farewell chocolate and buns for the Turkish pupils and teachers together with class 6 Coffee break 10.30 Sightseeing in Thyborøn guided by Karen and class 9. A 11.00 Visit Kystcentret ( science activity center dealing with the coastline and waves) and the Aquarium 12.00 Lunch. Sandwiches at school.
