The site analysis focused on the exposed materiality in detail, to help inform the experimentation process. The operation of entropy was captured through photographs, which exposed the gradual decrease and transformation of matter over time. The extractions of these photos were tested through various methods of drawing and modelling. The experimentation revealed the sense of containment within a space and it relation between proximity and architecture. This provided a close sensory experience between space and time.

CONCLUSION
The idea of proximity and architecture, is able to seen from a range of perspectives when broken down in detail. The methodology of the experiments offered new techniques, considerations and options to further a design from conception. “There is a materiality to space itself, rather than materiality residing in with only its contents [E. Grosz. 266] The idea of a virtual as well as physical presence of materiality, is emphasised through the interventions and drawings. They bring to question what is enclosed / open and solid / void. The idea of containment developed through the experimentation process offered both questions and answers in the search for proximity.
