A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT AND CEO Since the 1970s Univision and FIFA have been making history together by delivering access to the world’s most popular sport. In addition, we share common goals of continuing to develop the game with our audiences and building a better future by empowering the communities we serve. We are proud of this legacy and shared principles. Our unparalleled coverage of the world’s largest and most prestigious sporting event in 2010 again broke records and set new milestones as we brought an unprecedented number of people together and helped grow the passion for soccer in the United States. Today we are considered the home of the World Cup because of our commitment to deliver, maintain and showcase the quality of FIFA’s tournaments and events, with keen insights into the sport, teams and players, and our unique passion for soccer. In addition, 365 days a year we are the home of soccer, which is demonstrated in our extensive coverage across our platforms. We have pulled together some highlights that speak to this shared history, principles and commitment. We look forward to breaking many new records and of continuing our work with FIFA to propel the fastest growing sport in the U.S. and deliver on the passion of soccer.
