Pupils in Years 3 and 4 and Years 5 and 6 will be split into six different groups, one group per event. These groups will be their form groups. They will stay in their form group and move to the next event every 25 minutes. The pupils will score points per event and the amount will be determined by the distance they throw or the height they jump or the time they achieve. By the end of the events, they will have six separate scores and those points will all go to their individual Houses.

There will be awards to the pupils who achieve the furthest throw, best jump or quickest time per event in each year.

There will also be a Victor Ludorum trophy for the best participants in each year.

After lunch, the six fastest pupils in each year will race in a 60m or 80m final, and there will also be a 1500m final for Years 5 and 6. The pupils in the 1500m final have been selected from their times recorded in PE lessons earlier in the term. There will also be a ‘Through the Years 4x100m Relay’, as well as a whole school House relay.
