The new Advanced Rendering Engine allows you to composite C4D files within After Effects CC, including OBJ, FBX, and Alembic file formats. The Refine Edge tool creates high-quality matting results, so you can take your compositing to the next level.

Warp Stabilizer VFX You can smooth handheld footage, lock a shot or part of your frame automatically, and more with the powerful Warp Stabilizer VFX. Select stabilization points, edit and delete them throughout time, and preserve scale to fix tricky shots such as aerial fly-throughs. Warp Stabilizer VFX also allows you to reverse-stabilize: Select objects within a scene to stabilize while leaving others unstable; or stabilize an entire scene to do detailed work such as painting or warping, and then artfully restore jitter to get exactly the shot you want. Auto-delete points over time to ensure even tracking of objects
Use Warp Stabilizer VFX to stabilize selected elements within your frames
Use reverse-stabilization in Warp Stabilizer VFX after stabilizing a scene to fix or add elements. You can also use reverse stabilization to track an object into an unstable scene.
Mask Tracker Quickly create a mask and apply an effect such as color correction that travels frame by frame throughout your composite. Mask Tracker eliminates the need to adjust the mask and effect throughout time and avoids repetitive rotoscoping tasks.
Detail-preserving upscaling effect Bring existing assets into new projects and preserve detail and sharpness while upscaling images up to HD or 4K resolutions. Leveraging the Photoshop Preserve Detail resampling technology, the new upscaling tool retains clean edges and reduces noise and artifacts.

Property links Work more efficiently by updating properties across a whole composition from one location. Copy and paste an effect or mask from one layer to another while maintaining a live link to the original. Changes that you make to the original properties are reflected in all of the linked instances.

Faster performance With the inclusion of the Nvidia Opt-X 3.0 library and other enhancements, the ray-traced 3D renderer now lets you work more quickly with extruded text and shapes. Analyze your footage up to 80% faster with new speed enhancements added to both the Warp Stablizer VFX and the 3D Camera Tracker.
Pixel Motion Blur Create more dynamics in your compositions. Derived from the popular Timewarp effect, Pixel Motion Blur allows you to create the photographic illusion of movement by adding motion blur to your frames or to elements within them.

Integration with Adobe Anywhere for video Collaborate on composites and animations with After Effects CC team members thanks to integration with Adobe Anywhere for video. Use the new Media Browser in After Effects to browse and open shared productions on the Anywhere server. Composites are easily monitored to see the latest iterations and resolve version conflicts. Note: Adobe Anywhere for video requires a separate purchase and implementation.
