The 5th Annual Resource Planning Summit 2014 will take place at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is an event that takes place every year in order to discuss and exchange knowledge on the subjects of resource management, demand management and capacity planning and how these have


an impact on the running of an organization. The summit is also about identifying how these three aspects apply to project portfolio management. This resource management conference 2014 will be held over a period of 3 days starting September 15 and will conclude on September 17, 2014.


Speakers at the Summit The eight speakers who will be sharing their views on various aspects of resource management are leaders in their respective fields. These include:

Schedule of Important Events at the Summit

The first day of this all important resource management conference 2014 will see a number of experts addressing the attendees on different topics. Peter Heinrich will begin the summit by discussing about how resource planning can be simplified. Kevin Arnal, Director


of R&D at American Medical Systems, will give inputs on how to avert hindrances in setting up resource management solutions. Insights on the building blocks of headcount management will be provided by Taylor Dubios. Post lunch, humorist Todd Hunt will share his views about the communication, bleeps and blunders in business. Apart from these, there will be a sessions on how to manage organizational change by Frank Saladis and an emotional intelligence workshop on team building by Fred Dewey. Day 2 will begin with Dr. Harold Kerzner talking about the requirement for improved


resource management. Other than this, there will be a session on justifying resource management by Michael G. Valentin and a discussion on how to fail in implementation of resource management by Baruch Gabo, VP of Development for PDWare. The final day of the conference will see Joseph N. Teti talking about the need of working with teams in order to maximize productivity.
