PRE THESIS : GIRIH PATTERN AS A FACADE DESIGN SYSTEM

This study has conducted on develop ng an approach for analysis of day ighting and visua comfort through a kinetic facade shading system as we l as proposed pattern of Iranian Trad tional Gir h Tile The mode was simulated in the Ve ux simulation software were performed in order to eva uate dayl ghting and v sual comfort performance The objectives are to develop a girih pattern as a facade design system, determine the framework of the k netic facade design system that can achieve the amount of lluminance level based on the malaysian standard 1525 and to mplement the kinetic facade design system on the propose bu lding The results showed that the proposed model could significantly improve the shading flex bil ty to control day ight , by applying the kinet c facade system the day ight cou d achieve the standard of illuminance level based on Malaysian standard 1525 in the proposed build ng
