BUILDING A RESUME/ACTIVITIES LIST
When you list an activity on your resume, we expect that the list is accurate and truthful. The colleges assume that you are being truthful about your activities, and if they ind out that anything on your application is untrue or not your own work (essays, for example) there could be consequences. Please do not over-state any experiences, leadership, titles, or any other part of your resume. Maintaining academic integrity is essential in the college admissions process.
Everystudentneedstocomposearesumeoractivitieslist,whichincludes“inschool”activities (clubs,sports,studentgovernment,publications,…),“outofschool”activities(communityservice, volunteeractivities,sports,…),andemploymentexperience.
