Rosenlund

The Rosenlund series caters for all the needs and requirements of any outdoor area. Its modular system allows you to create a space just the way you want it. The collection has a variety of products from bins to planters, tables to seating – which will provide a complete and seamless look. All products within the range are bonded by design and functionality, as well as a high-quality aesthetic that holds its core values of comfort and durability.

Sofiero

The Sofiero series of products provides a timeless and harmonious design. It is simplistic, elegant and comforting by its very nature, and adds value to any outdoor space. Developed in collaboration with renowned architect and industrial designer Jan Wickelgren, the Sofiero collection is designed with comfort, style and modularity in mind. “The idea behind the design of Sofiero was to create a versatile, timeless range that would give architects and urban planners the flexibility to create vibrant and inclusive social spaces.” explains Jan.

Ekeby

The Ekeby series is simple yet highly functional and carefully engineered to last for many years to come. With its minimalist aesthetic, the range is the perfect addition to both urban and country settings. The products come in bark brown stained pine or park green painted pine. The timber we use is FSC-certified and comes from sustainably managed forests. Optional armrests can be added to provide support.

Pixbo

Crafted from strong and durable materials, Pixbo boasts clean lines and a subtle colour range. The combination between outstanding resilience and a timeless aesthetic makes it a suitable option for busy park and urban environments. Available in standard tar black and silver, but the Pixbo furniture can be painted in any colour if required.

Rörkröken

A classic HAGS reference, the Rörkröken series is an invitation to sit back and relax. Designed by Gunnar Hallén, the benches and table can be mixed and matched to create a socialising space tailored to any space and budget.

City Form

This is a perfect example of Scandinavian design, combining simplicity and functionality. Due to its modular elements, you can create bespoke configurations to suit your space and requirements.

Gripsholm

The distinctive look of the Gripsholm series is inspired by classical period furniture. The Gripsholm series is a perfect addition to areas with a strong history and/or heritage. It is designed to age beautifully and accommodate users of differing ages and abilities very comfortably.

Zeta

A robust and space-optimising configuration, Zeta blends nicely with urban and natural environments. The hardwearing steel frame and high quality timber table tops make it suitable for busy schools, playgrounds or challenging urban areas. The series includes two kinds of benches and tables.

Birka

Birka is a flexible, modular system featuring benches and connecting tables that can be fitted together to create bespoke configurations. Optional armrests provide additional support which can help users with mobility issues. The 12mm galvanised steel frame and spacious design ensure optimal durability as well as comfort.

Stockholm

Inspired by classic Swedish furniture, the Stockholm bench complements nicely a promenade or public square. With its stylish curved seat and thin frame, it will add character to any environment. It is also stackable to make removal or storage easier. The standard colours available are Bark Brown and Park Green. Optional armrests can be added to provide additional support.

Grid

With its graphic striped pattern and smooth finish, the Grid range is a bold design statement and adds the finishing touch to a contemporary space. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments, the benches can be combined to create a unique seating configuration, tailored to your budget or space. The playful, flexible design allows architects and designers to achieve different looks and enhance urban spaces, malls or business centres. With steel and HPL slats, it is also a durable, low-maintenance solution.

Rox

The happy result of a collaboration with renowned designer Gunilla Allard, the collection of Rox benches and Flox planters share a common design language and complement each other. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments, they’ll enhance public squares and malls alike.

”My objective was to create beautiful and simple products that can be used on their own or in combination with others.” says Gunilla.

Spin

Designed in collaboration with Lars Vejen, the 95cm wide two-seater Spin bench can be used for both indoor and outdoor spaces. The bench can be used individually or as part of a wider scheme, and can be anchored in two different ways: on a fixed pole, or with a swivel mechanism to allow the user to change the position of the bench and interact with the surrounding environment. The back and armrests are crafted from a single sheet of laser-cut steel, giving the object a distinctive seamless look. The Spin bench is designed to promote social interaction: “It is an invitation to relax and spend time with a friend or a loved one” says Lars.

Djurgården

Robust and functional, the Djurgården bench is designed to cope with harsh weather conditions and heavy wear. With its simplistic design, it will fade harmoniously into the background. Optional armrests are available.

Taberg

Taberg is stackable and fits well along a promenade or park pathways. Crafted in solid Scandinavian pine and boasting an elegant curved frame, it will add value to urban and natural settings alike. Its armrests can provide additional support for users with limited mobility.

Rosen

This robust 40 litre litter bin has been designed to have a discreet high end look whilst offering optimal usability. Its sloped top makes it virtually impossible to lay bottles on top and its front opening door allows for easy emptying. Rosen can also be used for the disposal of dog waste. Available in standard black or galvanized finish. Contact us for custom colour settings.

Poppel

The 25 litre litter bin will fade into the background whilst encouraging the local community to keep public spaces clean and pleasant. Practical and low-maintenance, it is also user-friendly owing to a top lid that makes it easy and quick to clean or replace bags. Poppel is available in standard black, red and green, but can be painted in any colour from the colour chart if required.

Örebro

The discreet, contemporary look of these sleek 25 litre litter bins will complement a park or urban setting nicely. Practical and low-maintenance, it is also user-friendly owing to a top lid that makes it easy and quick to clean or replace bags. Örebro is available in standard black. Sergel

The Sergel 140 litre litter bin combines outstanding functionality with a contemporary look, making it the perfect option for busy urban environments. Its large capacity, concealed liner and broad low-level apertures make it suitable for bulky waste and allows for easy emptying. The sloped edge and embossed surface not only add visual interest, they also prevent birds from removing litter and people from sticking on posters. Nora

This 70 litre litter bin designed by Swedish designer Gunilla Allard, boasts a sleek contemporary look and improved usability. The sloped lid makes it easier to keep the bin clean and free from litter placed on top, thus reducing maintenance. A concealed bag liner and low-level apertures allow easy emptying and efficient access for wheelchair users. It is accessible through a standard triangular key operated lock system. An ashtray is also integrated into the litter bin. Available in standard black or galvanised steel. Contact us for custom colour options.

Asken

Asken ashtray boasts a clean look and a functional design and helps keep public or commercial spaces tidy and inviting. It can be mounted directly onto the front part of the Poppel litter bin and is available in black powder-coated or stainless steel.

Gastro

With its small size and glossy finish, Gastro ashtray blends in harmoniously with an urban environment. Its concealed button allows easy opening and emptying. It is available in black powder-coated steel. Contact us for custom colour options.

Smalviva

Smalviva’s playful shape will encourage the local community to keep public spaces clean, tidy and pleasant for everyone. Both can be filled with sand for extra stability. The option without a grate allows for sand to stub out cigarettes. The Smalviva freestanding ashtray is available in standard black, powder-coated steel and can come in custom colours if required.

Our cycle racks come in many different shapes and designs to work with any designated outdoor space. The selection consists of stand-alone and modular designs which work with our range of shelters to provide that subtle, seamless look.

Bicycle Shelters

Sleek and contemporary in design, our range of bicycle shelters provide an ideal space to store bikes, plus, the integrated roof offers effective protection from the weather. They work perfectly with our bicycle racks, and they’re clean features mean that they will look great in any environment.

Stella Shelter

The Stella bicycle shed boasts clean lines and a contemporary look blending with most environments. The Nordic pine timber slats can be painted in any custom colour to echo the surrounding architecture. There are different roof variants available, from straight to vaulted and corrugated steel sheet to transparent plastic. The standard structure can accommodate up to 12 bikes and can be expanded if needed. Optional features include: lockable gates, high walls, fixed or freestanding bike racks and an installation kit for sedum roofs. Stella units can be installed side by side to create a configuration tailored to your space and budget.

Nova Shelter

With transparent panels, a discreet look and a number of roof variants, Nova has low visual impact and will fade harmoniously into the background. The see-through panels also allow optimal visibility and can be complemented by lockable gates and lights, providing safety for the users. With roof variants and a sturdy galvanised steel frame, Nova is a flexible and low-maintenance system. With a capacity of up to 12 bikes, it is the perfect solution for busy urban areas, and several units can be placed together if required. Optional features also include fixed or freestanding bike racks and an installation kit for sedum roofs.

Capella Shelter

With a sturdy steel frame and reinforced roof, Capella requires low maintenance and is virtually vandal-resistant, making it suitable for busy environments such as schools or urban areas. This space-optimising structure can accommodate up to 12 bikes and can be expanded to meet different needs in terms of space and budget.

Gullviva, Hallon, Linnea, Olvon, Ljung

A spacious and sturdy design, the HAGS picnic tables come with integrated seating and incorporate high quality materials such as slow-grown stained pine and hard-wearing galvanised steel. Several sizes are available to meet varying needs.

Skagen

Providing an attractive meeting spot for people of all ages and abilities, the Skagen inclusive picnic table allows users to sit comfortably as they have plenty of room to stretch their legs. Its ergonomic design is appreciated by the elderly or people with limited mobility. The standard unit comes with seven or eight seats and can accommodate one wheelchair user. Custom units with four wheelchair spaces can be ordered.

Trajon

With its natural look and functional design, this picnic table invites users of all ages and abilities to sit down together. Durable and hard-wearing, it is perfect for both school environments and busy leisure facilities.

Chilli & Pepper Grills

With its stylish frame and functional features, the Chili and Pepper grills set the mood for summer barbecues and helps foster a sense of community. Its strength and durability, makes it suitable for all environments, from busy recreational spaces to schools. Users can light the grills with charcoal or wood to cook a variety of foods whilst appreciating the functional design that allows optimal air circulation for cooking.

Flox

The happy result of a collaboration with renowned designer Gunilla Allard, the series of Rox benches and Flox planters share a common design language and complement each other. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. Available in two different heights; the stackable planters can be lifted and moved easily. An optional irrigation system is also available. “Planters of different sizes can be grouped together to create an interesting composition and add visual interest, whilst a line of planters will provide a buffer between pedestrian zones and busy roads”, says Gunilla.

Durability testing is a critical part of our product development

Rust & Fade Resistance

Freezing temperatures in Scandinavia or the hot sun of the Mediterranean our materials and finishes have handled it all without rusting or fading.

Weight Loading

We test each product to the relevant standard to ensure it can carry the weight of people using it together.

Impact Testing

We test new materials to the breaking point, even if it means hammer blows at -20°F, to ensure strength, durability, and safety.

Cycle Testing

We want everyone to enjoy uninterrupted use of our equipment, therefore we consider a variety of stress tests used during cyclic testing to try and push a product to its limits.

Vandalism Testing

Outdoor recreational spaces face unexpected extremes, so we expect them. Blowtorches, hammer strikes, knife slashes - we test it all.

Nordic Pine

Our pine wood is sourced from Scandinavian forests, where the trees grow slowly and develop a very dense and compact quality.

Steel

We only use structural grade steel engineered to cope with repeated use and heavy impacts. The material undergoes a number of treatments that increase its durability and resilience.

Hardwood

All our hardwood is FSC - certified and comes from responsibly managed forests. Our woodcutting process is entirely computerised and reduces the amount of waste.

Recycled Plastic

Ecogrip is an example of recycled plastic at HAGS where 89% is recycled polyethylene with a 2 mm thick layer on one side. Another example are boards for furniture containing recycled polyethylene.

Concrete

The concrete we use is standard cast concrete. In some larger products and in products with higher strength requirements, the concrete is reinforced.
