Message from the CEO Enjoy The Journey A hard pill to swallow when it seems as though everything is falling apart. When Murphy sticks around longer than he needs to and brings company along. I liken it to running hurdles at the Olympics. Just making it there as a competitor is a BIG DEAL and it's one hurdle after the other on the journey to the finish line. Making it to year four feels like a big deal...especially when compared to our start in 2013 with 8 customers, none of whom were friends or family members then. However, it's still a race, we came to compete and giving up when the odds are against you is never the option. My pastor (wow I now get to say, my pastor !!! - that's a different amazing story) he said, you never know someone's past, present and even more importantly their future. You never quite know what the future holds, so enjoy the journey, hurdles and all. We overcame so much to get here today. If you're reading this minimagazine it means we also overcame challenges this very morning on Delivery Day, 02/12/2017. I thank you for your support and your patience and understanding. I truly hope we've given you at least one reason to #GetMoving towards a happier and healthier lifestyle. The alarming statistics of deaths from NCD's can actually bring hope. It's exciting for me to know that we can intentionally alter our lives, in small steps each day and simultaneously live longer. More Moments, More Memories, More Lives. See you around.

Get Moving! Step 1: Measure your rope. Step into the middle of the rope. The handles of the rope should fall right at your armpit. Step 2: Holding the rope. Wrist should be kept at the side of your waist. This allows for better clearance per rotation. Step 3: Stand with your knees bent. Keep them bent throughout your skips
Step 4: Make sure to stay on the balls of your feet the entire time you're jumping with your feet not lifting more than a few inches off the floor.

Step 5: Jumping ropes is all about doing less. Your wrist controls everything. Focus on your wrist and your feet will follow.
Step 6: Practice ! Skip 5 minutes everyday. GET MOVING

The Birthday Club Something I think is phenomenal is futureme.org It's a website that allows you to send an email to yourself in the future. Whenever I'm going through "something", and this can be good or bad, I send an email to myself and set it for delivery anywhere from 3 months to a year later. Now, the amazing (slash) genius thing is, by the time this email delivers I have LONG forgotten I even sent it and its delivery is such a MAJOR welcomed surprise, plus the email subject always says " I message from your past" The Birthday Club is somewhat similar. It allows you to book your Birthday Gift or a Just-Because-Gift to yourself up to three months to a year in advance. It's not a Subscription Box but it's super cool. Stay tuned for more details, we're launching soon
