GRADUATION PROJECT The project is diveded to 3 buildings, each one has a different function: the first building: traditional arts school ( insprided by the artistic professions in the city: pottery, fishing, boats construction...l. The second one is a museum for the city, the top point of the museum allow the visitors to see the sea view ( as a final masterpiece), And the last one is a commercial center and services for the tourists. The Khan is transformed to a Hotel with all its services ( restaurant, lounges..)

The "Piazza" facing the khan serves as a bridge between the old city and the sea side, which will invite the visitors of the city to discover the old city and its hidden gems. The highway will eventually be transformed to a "tunnel" under the piazza bridge

of

the pro ject was inspired by the body movement when practicing different types of sports as a periodic

repeated movement which creates the shape of the building (as shown in the sketches). The center

of

the project (green space) reminds us of the heart of the body, which creates an appealing and quiet space to relax

and have the clean air needed after workouts.

of

it: technical college to teach construction works, so the design

reminds us of on unfinished construc tion project: steel structure, concrete wa lls, exterior stairs, containers ... a nd the colo rs ore used to contrast the steel a nd concrete, and make it o v ivid space. The lines of the dorms building fo llow t he limits of the land lines.

C A RS S H 0 W R0 0 M The project was inspired by the future of cars industry: e lectrical and ecofriend ly cars. the most fa mous Mercedes is the brand i chose to get the society familiar w ith the idea of electri cal cars. The shap es used in the projec t are inspired by the latest electrical Mercedes car (futuristic design) , and t he facades are inspired by both Mercedes logo and the hexagonal Cell ( the shape tha t symbolise nature).

Like many traditional buildings, this old building in "AI-Zehriye" remains untouched. in order to preserve the history of this kind of buildings, a Elevation 3

survey was held to mesure, photograph, draw and represent this building with its tiniest details, from plans to elevations and special details, and this is a brief of the presented work. ( teamwork of 3 - 4th: year).

This building has its structure (columns, slabs and stairs) constructed, it was initially a 2 floors buildings which we designed the facades, however the owner wanted to add 2 more floors (updated regulations) and asked for a plan proposa l to make it either an office or residential building. After the submission of the drawings, we agreed to make it an office building and designed the facades to suit the function.

in the paid internship with "Sukru Uzun ", as a supervisor assistant, we consulted every work accomplished in the construction ( painting, tiling, quantities and quality...) . the second part of my work was to make the shop drawings for the steel works ( fences, stairs, railings .. ) and this is a brief of the work.
