Option_1
Total built-up area: 2760m2 Role: Analysis, Concept, planning, 3d modeling, visualization Program: Holiday farm house
This house is located in a residential area along a small river in Tashkent, where the vegetation is so lush that it becomes very important. The presence of some ancient holm oaks spread over the plot generates the location and shape of the dwelling. Thus the design process is thoroughly bound to the place. The building sets back to respect the largest trees, thus giving them a leading role.
8
The house hosts four zones; Private royal zone of three bedrooms, Public zone of Majlis, Dining and Gym, Guest zone of 3 bedrooms, and the back of house zone for servants. The design process started with the fragmentation of the building in several boxes. Each box has a different height according to the room that it hosts. This hierarchical organisation of the rooms gives the main façades rhythm and movement.
The materials and the building system used in the construction of the house follow the traditional methods with a modern feeling. The resulting building keeps the warmth and comfort of a traditional rural house. The perfect environment for a peaceful life.

For the same previous project another smaller house option was proposed with a different style. The approach in this proposal was to adhere to the surrounding buildings with a modern twist. so the house blends into its old surroundings but it is also related to our present time. each function has it’s own mass, each mass has it’s simple shape inspired form the basic geomerty of the surrounding buildings extended by wooden logs canopies. This extension allows the house to broaden outwards generating multiple terraces.

The design Process started by stacking the required functions infront of the river capturing the best views. The entrance lobby has been placed between the public and private areas with uninterupted views. The public area has been pushed backward to increase the privacy of the bedrooms while increasing the outdoor public area. and finally rotating the bedrooms to follow the river direction to maximize their privacy and views.

Total built-up area: 7,800 m2 Role: Analysis, Concept, planning, 3d modeling Program: Private Holiday Themed Resort
A private resort for a royal family located on a beach of one of Abu Dhabi’s Islands. The owner vision was to adapt the style of Santorini Isalnd in Greece. The site was flat infront of the beach so, in order to create the cluster feeling of Santorini an artificial hill was created where all the back of house amenities were placed. The resort consists of 3 zones; the central building is the main one where the main royal suite is placed along with formal and informal gathering spaces, gym, spa, bar, and cinema, a building for the very close friends of the owner where it accomodates 10 bedrooms with dining majlis and a lounge, and the third one is for occasional guests where ot also has 10 bedrooms, dining and lounges areas. The three buildings are connceted with the back of house amenites to serve the 5 star resort seamlessly.
12
In order to bring the santorini theme inside as well as ouside, the plans layouts intented to be organic to simulae the shapes of santorini buildings. Every Room was oriented toward the beach views. As the floors go up their sizes decrease in order to use the roof of the lower floors as a terrace for the upper ones.

It’s a family house, consists of three units; the parents’ unit located on the Lower two floors and the upper floor has 2 apartments for their sons. The owner (the father) is a very social man who has lots of acquaintances, so a very flexible open plan was needed to adapt for his different kind of gatherings. That space has been located on the lower floor directly facing the pool. The entrance opens to a double volume with dramatic spiral stairs leading to the main gathering area. The site is located on a steepy lot which allowed for an open basement floor where the pool, outdoor cinema theater guest and gathering rooms are. The family room, kitchen and bedrooms are located on the ground floor.

The luxury of this house relies on it’s simplicity. The approach was to create a minimalistic elegant house. Local Stone cladding was used for facades with big openings to maximize the views and lighting quality while keeping their privacy by locating these openings on places where it’s not exposed. Movable wooden screens were used to add privacy while breaking the hot summer sun.

The double volume void above the dining table and around the seating area makes the space feel more spacious and gives it a lighter effect on the nature and facades. The private suites are floating above a reflected pool from their back side and could be accessed via a wooden deck in the ground floor, while from the upper floor are linked by an outside bridge that can be accessed from the inside. The outer facade materials are selected to fit the nature with sandy colored concrete finish and travertine and wide glazed facades covered with a wooden louver skin over it, to break the direct sunlight while allowing it’s rays to penetrates inside for a dramatic dynamic effect that fits with the dynamic spirit of the surrounding nature.

14 Albayader Energy Industry_ 2013 Gaduation Project
Total built-up area: 2600 m2 Role: Analysis, Concept, planning, 3d modeling, Visualization Program: Retail, Instituational, Industrial
The Proposed Project aims to present a solution for the energy problem we are suffering from. It also aims to promote sustainable and balanced interventions and find solutions . The Site (Bayader Wadi Al Seer Industrial area) was chosen for its polluted environment and its waste disposal problem making it a perfect candidate for a new technology that produce energy from waste, and by that we place the solution in the problem area.
Developing Area towards Wadi Al Shita Nature is Dominant , Human Pollution is still low
One of the projects main goal is to raise awareness at the public level, to achieve that we chose to redesign wadi al seer vegetable market and place the rest of the project near it, benefiting from it as an entrance for the project and serves as a provider of waste (raw material) to the proposed power plant, producing energy for the project and by that closing the cycle of waste and energy . The other goal was to create a research hub were researchers can study and develop alternative energy sources.
