WELCOME

Originally from Melbourne, we’ve had the opportunity of living in New South Wales, finally settling in sunny Queensland where we have resided for the past 30 years, due to my husband’s occupation as a civil engineer. Even before we retired, we purchased a caravan and travelled extensively throughout Australia. While we love nothing more than heading off on our caravan adventures, we now call Halcyon Greens home. It wasn’t a difficult decision. From the moment my husband spotted the golf course and I saw the layout of the lovely, modern homes and the resort style facilities, we were both hooked. We have now lived here for nearly four eventful years and are firmly entrenched in the community lifestyle. The beauty of Halcyon Greens is that there is so much on offer. You can do as much or as little as you please. There is something to interest everyone, including a caravanning group. Over that time Halcyon Greens has proved to be a caring and flourishing community. We have embraced new experiences that we would otherwise never have considered and have been blessed with wonderful neighbours who have become our good friends. We have no regrets and know that our move to Halcyon Greens was the right decision. We are relaxed and contented in retirement. Life is good. For more on Jenny’s story head to page 37
