Capital Upgrades for 2015 Work is underway on a number of major capital projects focused on upgrading Haldimand County Hydro’s distribution system and improving reliability. The 2015 capital work is highlighted by four major projects, which will be completed by May 31, 2015. The four major projects’ components include: 1. A voltage conversion in Caledonia: Includes a replacement of approximately 250 poles and 73 transformers and the installation of new underground primary cable for improved reliability and switching options. 2. Cayuga Voltage Conversion: This project is a continuation of a 2010 project to convert the south part of Cayuga to 27.6 kV and includes the replacement of approximately 98 poles and 22 transformers.

Report the Outage If your power goes out, let us know. Report all power outages by calling our 24/7 Emergency Line at 1-877-872-2570 or by using our mobile app (access it by visiting www.haldimandcountyhydro.ca on your mobile device). This will include the replacement of approximately 34 poles and 17 transformers. 4. Dunnville Voltage Conversion (Fairview Ave. and Central Lane): This project provides conversion for customers on Fairview Street and Central Lane between Cedar and Church Streets.
