Bread Loaf is a resort unlike others for it’s valuable distinction of a overall unique and utility filled stay. This resort is one that is automotive and designed for travel according to the traveler’s preferences. The traveler’s van of choice will be established towards the lifestyle desired for the duration of their stay.

Depending on the format implemented for it’s design, the logo type can be altered to any color usage from our color palette.


Sizing

Bread Loaf is inspired by our travelers being versatile and interested in utility. This is why we chose a brandmark that can be scaled and sized for various purposes. Bread Loaf’s mark is encouraged to break from the confinements of a signature, in aspirations to layout a beautiful pattern.

We want to ensure our travelers and guests can recognize the intentionally minimalistic design.

Though we’re pretty flexible on the scale and sizing of Bread Loaf’s brandmark, we never allow the beautiful fine line detail to be stretched from a width or height scale. If we use the brandmark for a pattern one must scale the mark from the upper corners on the bounding box, all while holding shift to ensure a clean and clearly defined line quality

We kept the illustrations minimal, considering we love our brandmark so much. The main illustrative element to Bread Loaf’s brand identity is the brandmark itself.

In the early stages of development, the brandmark came to be a series of identitifying conceptual relations to the brand’s identity. This was found through the ideas of conjoining the illusive line embodiment of the road, with the fine line quality of a topographical map.

Our illustrated brandmark is excited to be scaled for it’s use towards a mark and a pattern.

Goal: to document the various of ways a traveler can voyage during their road trip escape. The photography is inspired by a cohesive implementation of warm yellows and oranges that meet the calming blues and greens. A balance of the opposites is our approach.

As apart of our packaging and ephemera applications, we’ve designed various products and supplies that fit the traveler’s needs.

These two designs for surfboards are an example of what Bread Loaf has designed for the Athletic traveler. Other vans will be equipped with other necessities that seem fit.


Whether you’re an artist holding art supplies, or the musician carrying sheet music, this tote is roomy and ready to accompany your escape.

Hunger to Escape. Bread Loaf’s own exclusive packaging tote bag to store all supplies while travelling. This bag is a gift when the voyage comes to an end!


This packaging application is one that is implemented after the trip is over. During the trip however, a traveler will be supplied with a 35mm film camera that is loaded with film to shoot pictures with (artist traveler or not). When the traveler ends their journey, Bread Loaf developes the roll of film and mails the prints to the traveler weeks after. Leaving a memory that’ll last beyond the escape.
