Branding is so much more than just a logo. Your brand is everything - it’s how you are seen by the world, and most importantly, how you are perceived by your target market. Your brand is conveyed through everything you do - yes, it’s your logo, but it’s also the way in which all of your communications are presented, and the messages within those communications. It’s how your shopfront looks, but it’s also how your staff communicate with your clients. It’s how your website looks, and it’s also what you’re saying on social media. It’s how you present yourself and how you communicate with the world.

and playful) and also complement the Tourism Tasmania brand. RESULT: Using interesting imagery (instead of just scenic landscape photography), creative typography, artistic textures and graphic elements, we have created a strong brand for TNT that embodies the idea of a place that’s unique, fun, culturally diverse and ‘punches above its weight’.

Her love was his obsession. This March… The Phantom of the Opera In 1881, far beneath the majesty and splendour of the Paris Opera House, lurks the mysterious, disfigured Phantom, shamed by his physical appearance and feared by all. His obsession with his ‘angel of music’, the beautiful young opera singer Christine Daaé, unleashes a diabolical tale of drama, destruction and death – and a unique theatrical experience. Of course, we’re talking about Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera. More than a quarter of a century on from its London debut, the timeless and mesmerizing show is finally making its way to Launceston’s Princess Theatre. A misty lake, a falling chandelier, more than 300 costumes and wigs, a cast of 45 and orchestra of 25 are just some of the elements that will come together in March, as part of Encore Theatre Company’s production of this famed show. Heritage isle Credit Union is proud to partner with Encore to make this theatrical event possible, and we can all look forward to enjoying ‘The Music of the Night’ very soon. 14-29 March at the Princess Theatre TICKETS 6323 3666 www.theatrenorth.com.au
Golden words in the Tamar Valley HICU is proud to be one of the partners and sponsors of the Beaconsfield Festival of Golden Words next March 14-16. The Festival will bring more than 70 leading Australian writers to the Tamar Valley, attracting thousands of visitors and giving locals the opportunity to see some of the country’s most famous authors on their doorstep. The Festival will feature a dozen children’s authors led by Andy Griffiths and Wendy Harmer, whilst the wine and food writers program will star the queen of Australia’s foodies, Maggie Beer. The marquee program will have a strong film and TV flavour, with actor/biographer Steve Bisley and actor turned writer/director Rachel Ward.
Some of Australia’s most exciting and awardwinning novelists will be visiting, among them Hannah Kent (Burial Rites), Graeme Simsion (The Rosie Project), and Carrie Tiffany (Mateship With Birds). Internationally renowned authors Nikki Gemmell and Nick Earls are also on the program, along with Tasmania’s own bestsellers Katherine Scholes, Rohan Wilson, and Rachel Treasure. There will also be several sessions devoted to local writers. The event will run in two marquees in Beaconsfield and another at the new Tamar Ridge cellar door at Rosevears. With more than 6,000 seats available, and most sessions free, the Festival is expected to be a huge boost to the Tamar Valley.
