Rihanna Gets Loud!
“Complicated” This song is a nice blend of pop dance /hip hop and it has Rihanna using a melancholic voice to sing about a dwindling romance with words like “Why do you make it so hard to love you? / I hate it.” “Skin” “I have secrets I want to show you” Despite rumors stating otherwise, superstars like Lady Gaga, will.i.am of Black Eyed Rihanna sings on the seductive track while trying to keep the suspense going as she Peas, Katy Perry do not not appear on the sings with her lover. CD. Rihanna has collaborated with Nicki “Raining Man” (featuring Nicki Minaj) “Raining Man” is very rhythmic and much like MIA’s beats it has no real chorus with Nicki Minaj and Rihanna playing with the nursery rhyme “eenie meenie miney mo”. Just few days before the official release of Rihanna’s upcoming CD called Loud (the album will be available on Nov 16th) snippets of the 11 songs that will be featured on it have leaked for your listening pleasure.
Overall the CD sounds pretty decent and will surely please her fans who have been waiting patiently for the singer to share her new experiences with them. You can clearly feel her growth on the album, but it does not seem that she has found herself as an artist as yet. STAR SPOTLIGHT: Keke Palmer is more than an actress. The 17 year old has a clothing line, a music career, an awesome personal life, and a future filled with potential. Keke busted on the scene in 2006 in her breakout role in “Akeelah and The Bee.” Since then, she’s climbed the Hollywood ladder and now stars in her very own Teen Nick show, True Jackson, VP. The show is in its third season. And, while Keke loves working on the show, she can’t wait to jump back into movies. In fact, she was recently asked to be part of the new Marvel Comics movie, “Runaways.” The movie is different from the more typical roles Keke has played. This action-adventure movie is about a group of teens that discovers their parents are evil super vilians. The group runs away and finds out that they also have super powers. They ban together to defeat their parents. Keke is set to play one of the teen super heros. Singing is also something Keke Palmer is familiar with. Her first CD “So Uncool,” was quite popular. It featured the hit song “Bottoms Up.” Her sound is a perfect mix
of R&B and pop. She is currently working in studio with world-famous producer, Rodney Jerkins. Jerkins, is the executive producer on her second album, tentatively called “Keke Palmer.” The first single “The One You Call,” was released earlier this month. The CD is set to be released early next year.
Besides acting, and singing, Keke has a clothing line that spun off from her show, True Jackson, VP. The clothing line, Mad Style, is for young teens and girls. The fashionable and affordable clothing is so popular, its been completely sold out at Wal*Mart stores. Keke was honored on this years Black Girls Rock Awards on BET. With her young age, and limitless potential, it was no surprise that she received the “Who Got Next?” honor. Coming November 23 is a new web show, “Keke On The Reel.” The web series will feature Keke’s life and all the things she is doning in and out of Hollywood. So to avoid waiting in long line ups the Eve of the New Year, spending tons of money, and in order to make sure you’re spending the night with your close friends rather than the coat check guy, take a look at these ways to throw a New Year’s party at home. Considering New Year’s is right around the corner, it’s time to get the ball rolling in planning your house party.
