Throughout the development of the stormwater mitigation industry, porous pavements have been on the forefront of products offered as a solution. Older models risked trapped debris that clogged the technology, so Hanging Gardens went on a mission to find a superior solution. As a concept, porous pavement allows stormwater to run through the paved surface, a graded paver base, and then filter through the sub-base back into the aquifer or for re-use. At Hanging Gardens, we were not dissuaded by these initial hurdles. We saw an opportunity to work with products that would fulfill the expectations that failed porous pavement solutions could not. Our solutions will provide consistent flow rate while requiring minimal maintenance.

Our Microporous Pavers are a ceramic-based porous paving unit with strength and durability characteristics that meet requirements for commercial traffic applications.
