PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECT I have a circle that surrounds me. At the same time I am a part of it. It s circumference is 10. It surrounds me, protect s me, gives me security. What connect s us, no one can take away. The Ø10 project is a work that combines photography and collage. The story behind the project, as well as it s content is very personal. My family is the basis - Not my whole, just the people closest to me - 9, together with myself we are 10 in number, I call it the tight circle. I portrayed them, as well as myself, with my camera. Tr y i n g t o c a p t u r e t h e i r p e r s o n a l i t y - a s I k n o w , e x p e r i e n c e and love them - in a photograph. Then I selected excerpt s. The process of selection contained different criteria: What do I particularly like about this face, what is most interesting about this portrait or what makes this person special? How well do i really know them and how clear or blurred should the fragment s be? We are a family, we are related to each other, this connect i o n w i l l e x i s t f o r e v e r. B u t e v e r y c o n n e c t i o n , e v e r y r e l a t i onship is different. I have combined graphic element s into collages that describe the the relationships among us. Closeness, distance, boundaries and connections. For a stranger, they are collages, pictures, perhaps art.

My collection deals with the loss of identity, personality and self-determination. It represent s the „moving away from oneself“. CONTRARY

Flowing materials disguise the wearer, take away the view of the body. I have paid particular attention to the most discreet processing, few details. Avoid visible se ams as much as possible, cover closures. In contrast, the foreign, the engaging, appearing in more expressive tones and clear-lined forms, s l o w l y t a k i n g o v e r. The cuts vary bet ween visible and invisible, transparent and concealed, hidden and caught in collars and hoods. The collection is based on the keywords: discreet, simple, unobtrusive, disappearing, expressionless.

PRACTICAL

With the collection created under the name „gen.Y“, I combined t wo themes: haute couture and s p o r t s w e a r. By dealing with a very specific social group, I considered „gen.Y“ as a fictional brand. The gerneation Y, for whom fitness is a widespread lifestyle, sport swear is part of everyday life and can now be worn for almost any occasion. On the other hand, the striving for prestige and self-staging by consuming and wearing expensive prod uct s of hip brands, which are strongly defined by the staging of the brand logo.

Plant s have great qualities: On the one hand, they can give you the feeling of vacation, freedom and exoticism. On the other hand, they give you shelter and create a home in which you can feel comfortable. That is why they appear more and more often - especially in modern everyday life. My goal was to combine the idea of nature as a relaxing haven with the daily challenges of a stressful worklife. Therefore, I created everyday looks which provide an aesthetic way of comfort for women with a stressful working life. Chic element s are combined with materials from the sport swear sector as well as with typical street wear shapes to create a feminine and casual look. Elastic materials, adjustable drawstrings, and the use of zips guarantee comfort and a fast and easy handling. Thoughtful details like print s or embroideries make every peace exceptional.
