SIBLING


Sister duo Annette Felder and Daniela Felder are the designers behind Felder Felder who began their label in 2006 after studying at Central St Martins. Though from Germany they call London their home and have had shows at LFW. They cite their career highlight as “working with amazing musicians for their show outfits as well as on the soundtrack for our shows”, this influence is easily seen in their design signature of modern, sexy, cool looks. Look out for tailored jackets with a rock’n’roll edge and their signature leather jewellery


FELDER FELDER


JAMES LONG


Menswear designer James Long focus on leather, knits and accessories incorporated with his strong, bold, directional menswear aesthetic shows a new exciting side of mend fashion. Originally from Northhampton her went on to complete an MA in menswear and accessories at the Royal College of Art, he went on to work for Virginia Bates in New York before setting up his own label in London. This year he will be involved in both the Fashion Forward and Fashion East initiatives. Look out for leather technique pieces and his signature knits.


DAVID LONGSHAW


VASSILISA


Sophie Hulme’s design aesthetic of “clean, tailored silhouettes” with “masculine and feminine influences” and “an emphasis on hardware and detailing” A graduate of Kingston University although originally from London, where she won the Student of the Year and Best Collection Awards, she set up her label 2 months after graduating in 2007. Her focus on special individual items, mean they can be incorporated into any wardrobe. Look out for her outerwear and armoured tote bag.


SOPHIE HULME


HOLLY FULTON


Prints, luxurious materials and hot accessories are what Holly Fulton is known for. Winner of the Swarovski Emerging Talent Award for Accessories at the British Fashion Awards 2009 and also the BFC/ELLE Talent Launch Pad Winner in 2010 is a key player in the London Fashion Week shows. Having studied at both the Edinburgh College of Art and The Royal College of Art, the designer originally from Edinburgh is now a key player in LFW. Look out for a digitally printed, full-length monochrome dress in silk jersey and plenty of her signature prints.


Jewellery designer Maria Francesca Pepe went from studying Literature at Milan Universtity to an MA in Womenswear at Central St Martins. After this she worked in the industry before starting her own line MFP, for which she was nominated in 2009 for Emerging Talent in Accessories at the British Fashion Awards. Her work has been used in editorials shot by Nick Knight and Steven Klein and work by Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Sienna Miller and Jennifer Lopez to name a few. She’s also designed jewellery for Amanda Wakeley and Roskanda Ilincic catwalk shows. Look out for her MFP Tubulards which are constantly updated in new colours, textures and materials each season. Also the ADE ring which has been seen on Jennifer Lopez and Karen Elson as well as in numerous editorials.
